Welsh coastal town life in Porthmadog, Gwynedd is emblematic of town life in North Wales, of which Gwynedd is a county. The town has a current population of around 4,200 people that call it home. In comparison to many of the villages and towns in the United Kingdom, Porthmadog is a relative newcomer to the scene.
