The Beginning of the Hammock? Mar 03

Hammocks have come a long way since they first evolved. Many people believe hammocks began in the rich, ancient heritage of most Central American countries, including Guatemala, Nicaraugua, El Salvador and Costa Rica. There is also a history of hammocks beginning in South American countries like Brazil and Ecuador. The stories predate North Americans by 800 to 900 years.
