Located in the Allerdale borough of the county of Cumbria, England, Cockermouth is a market town with a population of just under 8000. It is located on the edge of the English Lake District, historically located in Cumberland. While there aren’t a great deal of tourists there, due to being on the edge of the Lake District, it provides a very pleasant place to visit without the crowds of other areas.
